A high school student from Southern California expresses how reading Great Grandmaster Tae Yun Kim new book “Seven Steps to Inner Power – How to Break Through to Awesome” has helped her and her mom in their lives. Victoria shared that, “It really helped me to open up my mindset more and to forgive people and move on…” Here’s a quote from the book about forgiving.
“Yes, people do make mistakes and hurt others. We all make mistakes. But you never need to condemn yourself or anyone else over and over again for those mistakes. Learn whatever you need to, let it go, and then move on to create a new reality. The main obstacle to forgiving yourself is guilt. If you think back to your childhood, didn’t authority figures usually deal with mistakes or misbehavior by condemning the behavior and the person engaged in it? We weren’t taught that a mistake is an opportunity for education or an opportunity to see what doesn’t work so we can create a better solution.”
