On October 29, 2018, Great Grandmaster Tae Yun Kim was named the winner of a Gold Lifetime Achievement Award during the 10th Annual 2018 Golden Bridge Awards presented at a gala at a Red-Carpet Awards Ceremony at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco.

With industry-wide recognition, the Golden Bridge Business awards were created to honor the achievements and positive contributions of individuals, organizations and businesses worldwide.  They encompass the best in organizational performance, innovations, products and services, executives and management teams from every major industry in North America, Europe, Middle-East, Africa, Asia-Pacific, and Latin-America.

Considered a curse in her village as the firstborn child and a female, Dr. Tae Yun Kim went on to be named “The Hope of the Country of Korea” by President Kim Dae Jung, former President of S. Korea.

Surviving the Korean War in the 1950’s, she eventually became one of the highest-ranked female martial artists in the world and coached the first U.S. Taekwondo team at the 1978 Pre-World Games in Seoul, Korea.

She was named “Woman of the Year” in California and won the Susan B. Anthony Award.   She’s won Gold and Silver Stevie Awards for Women in Business, a Gold Lifetime Achievement Award in the American Business Awards and now a Gold Lifetime Achievement in the Golden Bridge Awards.

“It’s an honor to be named a winner for this esteemed industry and peer recognition,” said Dr. Kim; “If I can achieve my goals in this lifetime, others can do the same – never give up!”

This recognition is another inspiring example of what shares in her new published book, Seven Steps to Inner Power Book, Page 89, “Determination is born out of a hunger and passion in your life. You’ve got to be hungry to achieve your dreams and your goals. You can’t just brag about what you want and then give up on it. That’s treating your dreams and goals like a hobby. There’s a big difference between a hobby and a goal. A real goal is a life-and death matter. What are your burning life goals? And are you so hungry to achieve them that nothing will stand in your way?”
