Just because Jung Suwon Super Martial Arts facility might be closed on weekends, doesn’t mean that nothing is going on! At Jung Suwon, we love to share what Great Grandmaster Tae Yun Kim has been teaching us, so we go out and give others an opportunity to see what we are all about!
This last weekend, a lot was going on! We had a tabletop display going on at the local theater, and students were taking turns explaining the benefits of Jung Suwon.
And once in a while there were impromptu skill demonstrations:
And while we were at the theater, and because Great Grandmaster Tae Yun Kim encourages us to learn something when we watch a movie, not just sit there and zone out, a group of Jung Suwon warriors watched the movie “Despicable Me 2.”
So if you were among the ones watching the movie – what did you learn? What did you relate to the most? Which scene do you feel applied to you the most? Go ahead and let Great Grandmaster know what you learned, and if you want to have another movie day!
“The goal in Jung SuWon is to make our whole lives a moving meditation, a process where at all times we move as One with our Silent Master, thereby creating harmony, peace, right action and everything that could be called love right where we are, right now! “ (Seven Steps to Inner Power, page 89)
