Jung Suwon Martial Arts

For Children, Adults and Families

The physical aspects of martial arts training isn’t only about kicking and punching. We also learn more about how to utilize our body and learning about the mechanics and coordination of our bodies. This requires lots of practice to become good at it and this requires different methods of working out our body with lots of repetition.  At Jung SuWon Martial Arts Academy, we work on different exercises that help us refine our coordination and our abilities.

For the regular classes, we practiced a fun activity that all of the students can enjoy. We were practicing our coordination by jumping back and forth above a belt. As we succeed in one particular height, we would elevate the belt to a higher height. This helps us to challenge ourselves as the belt height gradually becomes higher.

This is a fun and exciting way for us to challenge ourselves and our bodies. We are inclined to work out with exercises through kicking and punching, but it is also good to work out through different exercises. Through this exercise, the students were able to challenge themselves and work on their coordination and jumping abilities.

We should always seek out ways to improve ourselves and to enhance our abilities and we should do it in ways that are fun and exciting for all of the students.
