Jung Suwon Martial Arts

For Children, Adults and Families

Tuesday’s classes at Jung SuWon Martial Arts Academy is separated by color belt ranks. This provides the opportunity for the senior belt ranks to have classes together and focus on a particular topic. The instructors are able to cover a specific topic with that group of students and work with them to help them improve. Generally, these classes would cover different advanced techniques which can be more challenging to work on during regular classes when there is a diverse group of students.

This is an effective method for both the instructor to provide guidance to the students and for the students to have a platform to focus on their advanced techniques.

This past Tuesday, the purple, blue and brown belts were able to work on their advanced techniques. They practiced a series of advanced techniques with their partners. In martial arts, it is all about repetition and practice, so it is important that the students practice the advanced techniques on a regular basis.

This is the beginning of the new year, so all students should strive to improve and set new goals for executing their advanced techniques.
