Many times, we tend to take our “breaks” during the weekend. We compromise with ourselves saying we had a long week of school or a long week of work. Yes, it is important for us to take breaks, but it is also important to differentiate between taking a break versus being lazy.
This past Saturday, Jung SuWon Martial Arts Academy had our Saturday morning class for all ages. We had students from all belt ranks participate and work out together. It was great to see all of the students fill up the dojang floor on a Saturday morning. I’m sure their friends or colleagues are at home watching television or still sleeping, but these students were up in the morning to work out and train.
It is important to maintain your level of focus and discipline at all times, even when school or work is out. Great Grandmaster Tae Yun Kim teaches us to evaluate ourselves and see how we are doing regularly. This is important so we can determine what areas we can improve and work on. Continue to train hard and focus on your responsibilities! Jung Su!
